El Poble Espanyol

This was rather interesting, because it's a tourist trap and a commercialized skanzen at the same time. For me, the most memorable part of the whole visit were the cod croquettes Mum ordered for lunch -- never before has my gustatory experience been so uniquely unsatisfying. Imagine like mashed potatoes + cheese + cod with a breaded exterior and industrially produced.

However, the whole place is scale reproductions of the façades of regional architecture from all over Spain -- so like an exclusively Iberian Epcot in the middle of Barcelona.

Casa de las Cadenas, Corella, Navarra, 1710.
